What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Conduct Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) reviews and alert triage
• Manage data protection domains including DLP, URL content filtering, and CASB
• Utilize endpoint threat detection methods, including EDR capabilities and traditional antivirus
• Engage in threat hunting and leverage threat intelligence platforms
• Perform malware sandbox analysis and interpret results related to cybersecurity incidents

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the cybersecurity field
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• Proven technical proficiency demonstrated through independent research and projects
• Proficiency in identifying, triaging, and analyzing security events using a SIEM
• Demonstrated understanding of attacker methodology

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) preferred
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security
• Familiarity with next-generation firewalls and/or IDS/IPS
• Knowledge of incident response tools and processes
• Experience in malware sandbox technologies
