AI systems engineer with machine learning expertise
Requirements
Must have:
– Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field – Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript – Experienced with Angular, React, or Node – Strong knowledge of Git version control – Familiar with DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab, or Jenkins – Holds a Secret Security Clearance – Masters Degree in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred – Knowledge of communication protocols, ideally REST or gRPC – Experience with messaging protocols like Kafka, ActiveMQ, or ZeroMQ – Programming experience in Rust, Go, Java, or Node – Familiarity with Test-Driven Development practices – Experience in software orchestration and GitOps workflows – Background in developing microservices – Knowledge of defense mission systems – Experience in real-time embedded software development – Expertise in hardware-accelerated computing (e.g., CUDA, Intel oneAPI) – Experience with model deployment software like NVIDIA TensorRT – Ability to deploy AI-enabled systems across various environments – Familiarity with high-performance computing – Experience interfacing with databases such as SQL or MongoDB – Leadership experience in mentoring engineers or small teams – Knowledge of transitioning software from prototype to production – Top Secret/SCI Clearance is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Develop software applications that leverage Artificial Intelligence capabilities for our clients – Involved in all stages of the system development lifecycle from generating requirements to flight testing – Execute a variety of activities including proofs of concept, prototype development, and production transition – Apply object-oriented programming, data structures, and algorithms to solve challenging problems – Utilize concurrency techniques and have familiarity with I/O systems – Assume the role of technical lead and guide junior engineers as necessary
