Requirements


Must have:

– Practical programming experience, such as Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, with the ability to build complete solutions rather than isolated code fragments. – Strong SQL skills, including querying, joining, and reshaping data in relational databases. – Demonstrated experience working with third-party and platform APIs to move and transform business data. – Hands-on experience creating automations and workflow tools that reduce manual effort. – Direct experience using AI and large language model tools and APIs, with good judgment on where AI is appropriate. – Experience administering infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or a comparable cloud environment. – Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and developer automation. – Familiarity with version control systems such as Git. – Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into practical, shippable tools and communicate effectively with non-technical partners. – Strong judgment around data handling, privacy, security, and confidentiality. – Preferred experience in a regulated industry such as financial services, collections, healthcare, or insurance. – Preferred experience with data pipelines, ETL, or reporting automation. – Awareness of privacy and information-security frameworks such as SOC 2. – Experience expectations include 2 years in AI, 2 years in APIs, 2 years in AWS, and preferred 2 years in SQL and Python.

Responsibilities:


  • Design and develop internal tools, dashboards, and automations that improve operations across Collections, Compliance, Legal, and HR. – Integrate AI and LLM capabilities into workflows such as document analysis, classification, intake triage, drafting support, and reporting. – Build and maintain integrations with our collections platform and other internal or vendor systems through APIs. – Prototype quickly, collect stakeholder feedback, and refine promising ideas into reliable, maintainable tools. – Work closely with Legal and Compliance to ensure solutions align with data security, privacy, and regulatory requirements. – Document our solutions so they remain supportable and auditable.

This role sits within our Technology function and reports to IT leadership. The position is based in Arizona with an onsite, limited-hybrid arrangement, and it includes a competitive salary of $70,000 to $75,000 per year along with benefits such as 401(k) and matching, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, an employee assistance program, a referral program, and a retirement plan. Our business hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
