Expected Work Hours: 20~40 hours per week with flexibility for intense deliverable periods and demos.

Purpose: Committed to working untraditional hours to build a system that could determine the outcome of a future conflict

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Execute on a U.S. Army SBIR Phase I contract focused on Vision Language Action (VLA) models and bi-manual cobots
Implement VLA/VLM/LLM on cloud and embedded robotic platforms
Take full ownership of the technical stack and development roadmap for a dual-use AI platform serving military and industrial manufacturing use cases

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, AI, Robotics, or a relevant technical field
Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
Hands-on experience with machine learning libraries such as Pytorch and TensorFlow
Experience with ROS, ROS2, and Universal Robot RTDE
Experience with UR5e arms, end effectors, and manipulation systems
