SpartanSat is a student-led satellite development project at San José State University, committed to designing and building fully engineered CubeSat using industry-modeled processes. The program emphasizes end-to-end satellite development, integrating subsystem design, system architecture, and verification within a robust systems engineering framework. Role Description

This is a full-time, hybrid role for an AI/ML Engineer. The AI/ML Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing machine learning models for lunar crescent detection in addition to working with pattern recognition algorithms, especially concerning computer vision and object detection.
