AI Infrastructure Engineer

Requirements

Must have:

– At least 3 years of experience in developing and deploying hardware infrastructure, including networks, servers, and cloud-based solutions – Minimum 3 years of experience with Linux system administration – Proficient in Full Stack Development employing DevOps methodologies across both cloud and on-premise solutions – Possession of a Secret security clearance is mandatory – Must reside near a major Lockheed Martin facility with classified connectivity – Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as software engineering or similar technical discipline is preferred – 3 or more years of managing and deploying cloud and on-premise infrastructure (Azure, AWS, VMware, etc.) – Familiarity with integrating DevOps tools into end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Kubernetes Administration – Capability to function in an interactive local and virtual team environment utilizing paired programming and test-driven development – Knowledge of AI/ML principles, SDKs, and API usage across various platforms – Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance – Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset – Experience in monitoring and maintaining the performance of AI systems post-deployment – Knowledge of best practices for securing AI/ML data, ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability – Familiarity with Machine Learning models and algorithms, including insights into supervised and unsupervised learning techniques

Responsibilities:

• Drive the development, modification, testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications and IT infrastructure for advanced AI solutions – Serve as a key technical resource for our hands-on enablement services team, collaborating closely with program engineering teams across all business sectors – Design, develop, document, test, and debug infrastructure software and scripts – Participate in the complete software development lifecycle using Scalable Agile Methodology – Create innovative and straightforward solutions to technical and user experience challenges – Engage in agile development processes, including sprint/release planning and retrospectives – Design and implement hardware and cloud-based infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code solutions – Deploy and maintain complex Kubernetes platform offerings – Contribute to the architectural solutions for software development environments – Understand and apply AI and Machine Learning Services in both cloud and on-premise environments – Travel as necessary to support demonstration integration efforts
