About The Role We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join our esteemed law firm. This permanent, hybrid position offers the flexibility of remote work combined with in-person collaboration. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing complex real estate transactions, including acquisitions, financings, and government review submissions. You will work closely with attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth and efficient closings, ensuring all legal documentation and due diligence requirements are meticulously handled. This role requires a proactive individual with extensive experience in real estate law, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 10 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of real estate transactions and legal processes. Proficiency in preparing legal documents such as purchase agreements, deeds, leases, and consent resolutions is essential. Candidates should have extensive experience managing complex closings, conducting title surveys, and handling financing and government review submissions. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively are critical. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to liaise efficiently with clients, attorneys, and other stakeholders. Familiarity with legal research tools and software is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree in Law or Paralegal Studies is advantageous, and certification from an ABA-approved institution is highly desirable.

Responsibilities The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of duties, including:

  • Preparing and reviewing legal documents related to real estate transactions, such as purchase agreements, deeds, lease contracts, and consent resolutions.
  • Conducting due diligence processes, including title searches, surveys, and property inspections, to ensure transaction accuracy and compliance.
  • Managing and coordinating complex closings, ensuring all documentation is complete, accurate, and executed timely.
  • Assisting with financing arrangements and government review submissions, ensuring adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Drafting legal correspondence and supporting documents necessary for transaction completion.
  • Liaising with clients, attorneys, title companies, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication and transaction flow.
  • Staying updated on changes in real estate laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure firm compliance.
  • Providing legal support and guidance to attorneys and clients throughout the transaction process.
