About The Role The Legal and Executive Administrative Support role at Performance Software is a fully remote position dedicated to providing essential legal and administrative assistance to the Operations Leader and General Counsel. This role involves a variety of paralegal, secretarial, technical, and administrative functions designed to streamline legal and operational workflows. The successful candidate will interact regularly with senior executives, clients, engineers, and government offices, ensuring the smooth operation of legal and administrative processes. Responsibilities include maintaining calendars, managing internal databases, supporting data collection, compliance, document review and preparation, and file management. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, confidentiality, and proactive communication are highly valued. The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $75,000, depending on experience.

Qualifications

  • Must be a U.S. Person, including U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status under asylum or refugee status, or the ability to obtain an export authorization.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar support role, preferably supporting legal or executive teams.
  • Experience supporting legal departments or operations teams is highly preferred.
  • Background in contract administration or executive calendar management is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field preferred.
  • Paralegal certification or legal administration training is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) is required.
  • Hands-on experience with DocuSign or similar electronic signature platforms is preferred.
  • Familiarity with document management systems, contract tracking software, and collaboration tools such as SharePoint is beneficial.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive legal, clerical, and administrative support to the Operations Leader and General Counsel.
  • Prepare, review, analyze, and transmit legal correspondence, memoranda, and documents.
  • Maintain and update the calendars of senior leaders, including scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and proactively resolving scheduling conflicts.
  • Support operational processes by maintaining and updating process documentation, manuals, and records to reflect current workflows and policies.
  • Track and manage company contracts, ensuring proper version control, systematic archiving, and monitoring of key dates such as opening and expiration of agreements.
  • Manage the electronic signing process for legal documents using DocuSign, including preparing documents, routing for signatures, and tracking completion.
  • Organize and maintain an orderly document management system for legal files and correspondence, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with record-keeping policies.
  • Draft agendas for meetings based on input from legal and operational teams, attend meetings to take detailed notes, and distribute summaries and action items.
  • Follow up on action items and deadlines to support team accountability and project progress.
  • Perform additional administrative duties to ensure the smooth functioning of the Legal and Operations departments.
