About the Role
Stake Property Group is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Acquisitions Associate to join our growing real estate investment team. This is a commission-based position designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in sourcing, underwriting, and closing distressed real estate opportunities across New York City.
You will work directly with the Principal, gaining real-time exposure to the full lifecycle of real estate acquisitions—from deal sourcing to closing.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and identify distressed real estate opportunities across NYC (multifamily and retail assets)
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, owners, and industry professionals
- Conduct outreach via calls, emails, and in-person meetings to uncover off-market deals
- Assist in underwriting deals, including financial analysis, rent comps, and valuation
- Support due diligence efforts and deal execution
- Track leads and opportunities through internal systems
- Attend property tours, meetings, and negotiations with the Principal

- Analytical mindset (financial or real estate background is a plus, not required)
