Job SummaryThe Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for processing incoming payments monitoring customer accounts and reconciling discrepancies This role involves communicating directly with customers to resolve payment issues and ensuring accurate timely payment processing in support of the companys overall financial operations Key ResponsibilitiesProcess incoming payments and reconcile them against outstanding customer balancesMonitor customer accounts on an ongoing basis to ensure timely paymentInvestigate and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely and professional mannerCommunicate with customers to address payment issues and outstanding balancesGenerate financial reports related to accounts receivable performance and agingCollaborate with internal teams to streamline and improve payment processesAssist with month end closing activities and support internal and external auditsStay current on industry best practices and regulations related to accounts receivableQualificationsProven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar roleSolid understanding of basic accounting principlesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software NetSuiteExcellent attention to detail and strong organizational skillsStrong communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast paced environmentCompensation & BenefitsCompensation includes a competitive base salary along with eligibility for a performance based bonus structure in addition to the companys standard benefits package
