What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable department ensuring timely payments to suppliers and employees
- Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate Accounts Payable staff members
- Maintain accurate financial and vendor records while ensuring compliance with company policies
- Develop and implement budgets, policies, and controls to enhance department efficiency
- Manage vendor relationships and handle 1099 reporting and banking information
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Management experience in a remote working environment
- Accounts Payable experience with extensive knowledge of accounting principles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in business solutions and accounting software, with advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
- Basic understanding of double-entry accounting
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience in broadcast media
- Familiarity with NetSuite Program
- Advanced Excel skills
