What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable department ensuring timely payments to suppliers and employees
• Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate Accounts Payable staff members
• Maintain accurate financial and vendor records while ensuring compliance with company policies
• Develop and implement budgets, policies, and controls to enhance department efficiency
• Manage vendor relationships and handle 1099 reporting and banking information

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Management experience in a remote working environment
• Accounts Payable experience with extensive knowledge of accounting principles
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in business solutions and accounting software, with advanced Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, etc.)
• Basic understanding of double-entry accounting

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Previous experience in broadcast media
• Familiarity with NetSuite Program
• Advanced Excel skills
