Accounting Manager, Irvine Based Company -Remote

Role Overview

Stardom Employment Consultants is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager for an opportunity with a Fresno-area employer. The successful candidate will oversee core accounting operations, strengthen financial controls, and deliver accurate, timely reporting to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and ensure accurate financial statements.

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

• Prepare and review budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses.

• Maintain internal controls and support compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

• Coordinate audits and provide requested schedules and documentation.

• Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members.

• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, systems, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Several years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibility.

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices.

• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, budgeting, and audit coordination.

• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced spreadsheet skills.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

• CPA or other relevant certification is preferred.
