Roles & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AI-generated accounting explanations, journal entries, financial statement analyses, reconciliations, and scenario-based accounting responses for accuracy, completeness, professional judgment, and compliance with accounting standards
  • Review AI-generated solutions involving GAAP application, accrual accounting, month-end close procedures, revenue recognition, lease accounting, inventory valuation, and financial reporting workflows
  • Analyze accounting-related reasoning for logical consistency, technical correctness, unsupported assumptions, classification errors, and policy interpretation issues
  • Challenge AI systems using realistic accounting scenarios involving audit readiness, internal controls, reconciliations, variance analysis, expense classification, and management reporting
  • Identify technically plausible but incorrect accounting conclusions, edge cases, reconciliation mismatches, and financial reporting inconsistencies
  • Review and refine AI-generated prompts, accounting workflows, and business scenarios to ensure alignment with professional accounting standards and real-world accounting practices
  • Provide structured feedback explaining reasoning gaps, accounting errors, unsupported conclusions, policy misinterpretations, and professional judgment concerns
  • Assess AI-generated financial analyses for statement accuracy, cash-flow classification logic, balance-sheet consistency, and accounting treatment appropriateness
  • Support benchmarking initiatives by designing and validating accounting tasks that test AI reasoning across varying complexity levels and business contexts
  • Help improve AI communication standards by ensuring accounting concepts are explained clearly, accurately, and appropriately for professional and business audiences
  • Contribute to AI model improvement through annotation workflows, accounting evaluations, technical reviews, response ranking, and structured quality-assurance processes

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field required; CPA, CMA, Master s degree, or equivalent advanced accounting credential strongly preferred
  • Minimum Strong years of professional accounting experience with strong hands-on exposure to financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, audit support, or accounting operations
  • Deep understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, journal entries, financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and accounting policy application
  • Strong knowledge of internal controls, audit documentation, revenue recognition, expense classification, management reporting, and variance analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret financial data, identify discrepancies, evaluate accounting judgments, and explain conclusions clearly to stakeholders
  • Experience reviewing complex accounting work for technical accuracy, consistency, completeness, and compliance with professional standards
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail when evaluating accounting logic, financial consistency, and reporting assumptions
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain accounting concepts, errors, and reasoning paths clearly and concisely
  • Ability to assess AI-generated accounting outputs for logical correctness, technical validity, and real-world applicability
  • Previous experience with AI data training, annotation, technical QA, accounting review, or evaluation of AI-generated content is strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with AI systems and tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, or similar platforms preferred
  • Reliable remote work practices, confidentiality handling, and consistent performance in structured contractor workflows required
