Account Manager (Remote)

We are looking for a proactive, relationship-driven Account Manager to join our team and manage a portfolio of client accounts. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, drive retention and growth, identify upsell opportunities, and ensure client satisfaction. You will work closely with sales, delivery, and customer success teams to deliver exceptional client experiences. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of B2B SaaS and tech clients.
  • Support new client onboarding and implementation processes to ensure smooth setup.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships based on trust, transparency, and value.
  • Conduct regular check-ins, business reviews, and strategic planning sessions with clients while understanding each client’s business goals, challenges, and success metrics.
  • Drive client retention and minimize churn through proactive engagement and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with sales and delivery teams to expand client relationships, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Negotiate contract renewals and pricing adjustments as needed.
  • Represent client needs and priorities to internal teams (delivery, operations, product, etc.), escalating and resolving client issues promptly and professionally.
  • Gather client feedback and communicate insights to leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).

Requirements

  • Previous experience in account management, client success, sales, or related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related role is preferred.
  • Experience with CRM platforms.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
  • Natural ability to connect with clients, understand their needs, and advocate on their behalf.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to resolve client issues proactively.
  • Experience with contract renewals, pricing discussions, and upsell negotiations.
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and take ownership of client relationships.
