The Account Executive calls predominantly on Neurologists Neurology Technicians and IT across a specified territory promoting Nihon Kohdens Neuro diagnostics and monitoring products Essential Functions and Main Duties Achieve annual quota in Neuro diagnostics and monitoring products by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume achieve account penetration and complete territory coverageNKA evaluates New Hire AE performance primarily on the achievement of MBOs as set forth in the New Hire Sales Compensation Plan These MBOs focus the New Hire on foundational activities needed to build and grow the assigned territory The quota set forth in the New Hire Plan is primarily for purposes of calculating potential commissions and any related bonus under the Plan NKA evaluates Account Executive performance primarily on the achievement of the assigned quota and the ability to identify and establish new business growth opportunities in the assigned territoryDevelop implement and update quarterly an annual Business Plan supporting attainment of quota market share growth and other company objectives; Maintain sufficient identified business to support a balanced sales funnel as defined by managementUtilize sales counterparts corporate account managers telemarketing and other company resources to maximize sales account penetration and market share growthRepresent Nihon Kohden as the technology leader and vendor of choice through regular product presentations evaluations customer training and sales calls as required by the companyMaintain a high level of product knowledge on Nihon Kohden and competitive productsParticipate in Professional Trade Shows and attend Regional Sales meetingsProficiency in Strategic SellingDevelop and maintain consultative sales relationships with all key buying influences in each accountMaintain complete knowledge of each accounts current and long term purchase plans and objectives; keep management informed of all changes in plans objectives and key buying influencesAccept and adhere to high ethical morale and personal values in decisions communication action and when dealing with othersBe reliable responsible dedicated committed and fulfill obligationsRegularly communicate significant customer status changes in writing to appropriate resources managers support and customer service as appropriateAdhere to all company policies procedures and business ethics codesDuties may be modified or assigned at any time based on business needQualifications Education Certification Experience Required Bachelors degree in business science or related discipline; relevant clinical education and experience accepted in lieu of degree4 years of experience in hospital sales with multiple call points; capital equipment sales experience ideally in the field of neurology or PSGConsultative of conceptual sales and negotiating experiencesCompetencies Required Excellent verbalwritten communication skillsProficient with Microsoft Office suite and other relevant programs pertaining to products and salesMust be able to communicate verbally and in writing and to receive and understand verbal and written instructions in EnglishAble to work effectively both independently and in a collaborative team environmentCompensation Your compensation is composed of a 110000 base salary and quarterly MBOs There is also an opportunity to earn a Variable Incentive via Commissions earned above value of earned MBOs Perks and Benefits Visit our Career page to learn more about Perks & Benefits and working at Nihon Kohden America Working Conditions Schedule The regular hours for this full time position are 800 am to 500 pm MondayFriday unless otherwise stated by the department manager Holiday weekend and evening work hours may be required Regular hours may vary due to the needs of the organization or department and are subject to change at any time at the Companys discretion Physical Generally may require some reaching bending stooping squatting crawling kneeling pushing pulling lifting carrying up to 20 pounds finger dexterity repetitive motions standing walking sitting hearing visual acuity color vision More specific details may be provided as needed or requested Location Must reside in assigned territory Connecticut;
