As an account executive, you’ll play a key role in shaping and sharing the stories of companies developing groundbreaking scientific and medical advances in biopharma. You’ll help bring attention to innovations that have real potential to improve human health.

We are experienced storytellers with strong backgrounds in corporate, scientific, medical, and product communications, and we serve as trusted advisors to leadership teams.

You will work closely with a team of PhDs and communication strategists at LifeSci Communications, while also working alongside specialist teams in finance, consulting, recruiting, and more as part of the broader LifeSci Partners organization.

Position Responsibilities

  • Assisting in the development of key corporate communications strategy and materials including corporate and product messaging documents, press releases, corporate and conference presentations and more.
  • Developing strong and sustainable relationships with clients across multiple geographies and appropriately manage client expectations.
  • Developing and implementing messaging across communications channels, including client social media channels, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Support with execution of earned media strategies, including building relationships with relevant media outlets and sharing client news and updates
  • Gaining and maintaining a deep understanding of client’s science, their competitor’s science, how they fit into the landscape; and provide counsel to clients.
  • Collaborating with LifeSci Communications departments, including creative and digital, to execute strategic communication plans.
  • Staying updated on regulatory requirements and guidelines related to pharmaceutical research and ensuring that reports comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

  • PhD strongly preferred in a relevant field of study
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in communications or public relations in the biotech, pharmaceutical, medtech, health-tech, and diagnostics industries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and precision in scientific reporting.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines.
  • Adherence to ethical standards and guidelines in pharmaceutical research and report writing.
