BI Developer (Application Developer/Microsoft Analytics)

Description: CTG is seeking to fill a BI Developer (Application Developer/Microsoft Analytics) opening for our client in Houston, TX.Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 12 monthsDuties: Design, develop, and implement business intelligence, data warehousing, and reporting applications using Microsoft BI tools and products.Build reports and visualizations using Power BI, Power BI Report Builder (Paginated), Power BI Embedded services, and SSRS.Develop and optimize complex queries using Power Query, DAX, R, and T-SQL.Ensure usability, performance, flexibility, testability, and standardization in Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports.Implement security features and role-based access in Power BI and related reporting environments.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze data, and deliver effective BI solutions.Provide production support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high-quality deliverables.Skills: Strong expertise with Microsoft BI tools: Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, Power BI Embedded, and SSRS.Advanced skills in SQL Server programming, Power Query, DAX, R, and T-SQL.Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.Ability to implement and maintain security features in Microsoft BI solutions.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.Experience optimizing Power BI dashboards and reports for performance and usability.Experience: Proven experience as a BI Developer, Application Developer, or Microsoft Analytics Specialist.Hands-on experience developing BI solutions using Microsoft tools exclusively.Demonstrated ability to work with complex data sets and deliver meaningful insights.Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent work experience.Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.CTG does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies, or fee based recruitment services for this role.To Apply:
