What You Will Do
As a Senior Mechatronics Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement automated systems that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality across our global waste processing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize industrial automation systems and factory layouts
- Analyze production data and recommend process improvements
- Lead integration of sensors, actuators, and control systems including PLC and HMI
- Collaborate with global teams and external suppliers
- Support system testing, commissioning, and ongoing performance monitoring
- Ensure compliance with safety standards including OSHA, ANSI, and ISO
- Travel internationally to support installations and upgrades
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- Five or more years of hands-on experience in automation or mechatronics
- Strong knowledge of PLC and HMI programming and industrial control systems
- Proficiency in SolidWorks including 2D and 3D modeling, BOMs, and assemblies
- Experience with lean principles and process optimization
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills
- A passion for solving complex problems and working across cultures
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for international travel
