What You Will Do

As a Senior Mechatronics Engineer, you will design, develop, and implement automated systems that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality across our global waste processing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize industrial automation systems and factory layouts
  • Analyze production data and recommend process improvements
  • Lead integration of sensors, actuators, and control systems including PLC and HMI
  • Collaborate with global teams and external suppliers
  • Support system testing, commissioning, and ongoing performance monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards including OSHA, ANSI, and ISO
  • Travel internationally to support installations and upgrades

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
  • Five or more years of hands-on experience in automation or mechatronics
  • Strong knowledge of PLC and HMI programming and industrial control systems
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks including 2D and 3D modeling, BOMs, and assemblies
  • Experience with lean principles and process optimization
  • Excellent communication and project coordination skills
  • A passion for solving complex problems and working across cultures
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for international travel
