Job Description
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree with 6 semester hours in a quantitative discipline.
Required Skills:
At least one year of full-time experience sourcing, collecting, validating, analyzing, or presenting data in a professional environment
Strong attention to detail and data quality
Excellent customer service skills
Strong communication skills, including comfort with presenting to various audience sizes (in-person and virtually)
Adobe Acrobat, Data Analytics Specialist, Data center management, Online Web-based Training Developer
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in ARC GIS
Experience with Tableau
Experience with data mapping and system integration
Experience developing training materials and documentation
Familiarity with NPDES Electronic Reporting Rule (eRule)
Knowledge of MyTDEC Forms or similar electronic reporting systems
Job Overview:
The client is seeking a Database Administrator to support projects related to EPA’s NPDES Electronic Reporting Rule (eRule). This position will serve as a technical liaison between IT and program staff and contribute to data reporting, training, and compliance documentation efforts.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist with development of reports to support compliance with Phase 2 of EPA’s NPDES eRule
Act as a technical program representative, bridging communication between IT and program teams
Develop training materials and documentation for new and existing MyTDEC Forms
Support data mapping between systems and ensure accurate data flow to DWR and EPA databases
Conduct outreach and training for internal and external stakeholders on e-reporting and NPDES data management
Provide support and customer service for electronic reporting systems
Potentially participate in GIS or Tableau-related projects, if skilled in those tools
