About the Role

We are seeking a Customer Response Specialist with experience in Salesforce and SAP to join our team in Shelby Township, MI. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers via phone and email, providing support, documentation, and service coordination. You will manage customer cases, verify account information, and ensure accurate data entry across Salesforce and SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls and emails via the Focus Center Hotline
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with customers
  • Create and update customer cases, contacts, and company records in Salesforce
  • Route inquiries to appropriate departments or individuals
  • Review and process open cases, including requests for documentation and drawings
  • Verify customer account status and initiate new accounts in SAP and Salesforce
  • Maintain availability in phone and CRM systems during assigned hours
  • Create and manage documents in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Assist with onboarding new customer service team members
  • Handle confidential customer data professionally
  • Collaborate with internal departments to meet company goals
  • Adhere to quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 1 year of administrative or customer service experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with ERP systems, especially SAP
  • Experience with CRM systems, especially Salesforce
  • Strong interpersonal and phone communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Skills

  • German language proficiency is a plus
