CAD Operator

Location: Naperville, ILDuration: 3 yearsJob Summary:
The CAD Technician is an entry level drafter responsible for producing foundational 2D basemaps and plan sheets for drawing sets that support our gas distribution and transmission projects.
The CAD Technician learns client drafting standards, contributes to drawing packages, and lays the groundwork for more complex design work. Job Requirements:Experience:

• 2 years preferred of drafting experience, preferably in gas utility field Knowledge & Skills:
• Proficient with AutoCAD 2D basics.
• Ability to read and understand CAD drawings, schematics and maps.
• Familiarity with GIS, GIS data formats (dwg, shp) and coordinate systems.
• Familiarity with other CAD software such as Civil 3D or Inventor is a plus but not required.
