Mid-Level LSS / Fire Protection Engineer

Overview: We are seeking a Mid-Level LSS / Fire Protection Engineer for assignment in Boise, Idaho. The selected candidate will work on projects that include state of the art industrial and commercial facilities.Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm** This position is on-site **** This position has a pay rate of $33 – $50/hr ** Responsibilities:- Perform regular field walks- Attend project meetings- Develop I&C drawings- Construction specifications- Specify instruments- Write sequences of operations- Reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications- Producing process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), designs for electrical circuits and panels, control panel drawings and wiring diagrams Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering- 2 years experience working with Instrumentation and Controls or Life Safety Systems / Fire Protection- Working knowledge of PLC’s (Siemens), DCS and other controls applications- Ability to generate complete I&C / LSS design packages (e.g. P&IDs, I/O lists, wiring diagrams, control narratives, etc.)- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks is a plus- An Engineer-in-Training Certification (EIT) is a plus
