Head of SMB, Uber for Business US&C
About The Role Uber for Business is seeking a Head of SMB Sales that will set the culture, tone, and direction for a contingent of sales managers and sellers. You will develop scalable strategies for Uber for Business adoption in one of the business’ fastest growing segments. Your ability to pinpoint trends and develop processes to increase productivity will be critical. In this role you will be working closely with the Head of US&C along with Sales Operations, Marketing, Strategy, and Product to execute your vision for SMB.

What You’ll Do
- Recruit, manage, and mentor a sales team responsible for growing SMB clients on the U4B platform (3 sales managers and 30 account executives)
- Manage and report weekly forecasts, own & achieve quarterly sales goals, and mentor front-line Sales Managers on strategies to exceed their goals
- Partner with Sales Operations, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify, develop, and drive adoption of standard methodologies for long-term growth
- Collaborate with senior leadership on annual planning, org design and forecasting
- Solve diverse challenges and use internal / external networks as needed. Identify and involve various stakeholders to help scale internal process improvements
- Establish a customer-obsessed sales organization
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in senior sales and/or business development roles
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing a team
- Experience with Salesforce, Gong, ZoomInfo; ability to leverage CRM data to identify opportunities
- Bachelor’s Degree

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$150,000 per year – USD$167,500 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$167,000 per year – USD$186,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber’s bonus program, and may be offered an equity award, sales bonuses & other types of comp.
