Role: Tandem/Card Management Developer
Location: Remote, W2 Contract,
Job Description
What you will do:
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
- Produce well designed, testable, efficient quality code
- Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
- Prepare and produce releases of software components
- Support continuous improvement and innovation
- Produce quality documentation for the support teams
- Troubleshoot / Diagnose issues and identify appropriate solutions
What you will need to have
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience required.
- 7+ years of experience designing, developing and implementing software applications and hands on experience with large scale applications at large institutions with technologies Tandem/ HP Nonstop / COBOL / TAL.
- Experience with data replication using Shadowbase or GoldenGate.
What would be great to have
- Experience with REST APIs
- Strong experience on event-based architecture leading strategy, governance and execution of event-based architecture at large institutions.
- Financial services industry experience.
- Experience with analytics and performance monitoring.
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
- Experience in the day-to-day practicalities of Agile software Product Development Lifecycles such as Scrum, SAFe, DAD, Lean Agile, Kanban, etc.
