3-Month Contract

Onsite in Arlington, VA

CDW is seeking a Desktop Engineer to join our IT team on a three-month onsite contract in Arlington, VA . The top priority for this role is providing strong AV support , including setup, configuration, and installation of AV equipment. The ideal candidate will also bring experience supporting Mac and Windows environments , along with a strong customer service mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide A/V support, including setup, troubleshooting, and installation.
• Support Apple devices (MacBook, Mac Mini) and Microsoft Windows devices.
• Administer Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange).
• Deploy patches and applications using tools like Intune, Jamf, or Desktop Central.
• Support plant systems (VoIP, CCTV, radios, access control).
• Monitor backups and support end-user IT needs across devices.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years supporting Windows; 3+ years supporting Apple environments.
• Strong AV experience is required.
• Experience with MDM tools, Office 365, and basic networking (TCP/IP).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. and work onsite, including walking outdoors and climbing stairs.
• Apple or Windows certifications are a plus.
