Job Description:

General Purpose: To accurately process all requests for new Agreements or Amendments to selling agreements based upon the established workflows and processes and within our established service delivery timeframes.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting client’s retirement and insurance product distribution channels through the coordination of Selling Agreements with new firms who will sell and/or wholesale client’s insurance products
  • Coordinates and acts as a liaison with appropriate internal departments, client key account managers and/or Relationship Manager, licensing, third party administrators, and other outside firms on all selling arrangements
  • Coordinates due diligence process involving broker-dealers and corresponds with Compliance to identify issues for resolution; monitors spreadsheet
  • Prepares, distributes, and processes selling agreements and amendments thereof, accurately and within established timeframes
  • Reviews agreements for proper execution and countersignature, consulting with Manager regarding any selling agreement modification requests
  • Maintains and tracks information in internal selling agreement databases; is able to produce a variety of reports from databases as needed for department management information
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of selling agreement database and Selling Agreement electronic and hardcopy files
  • Handles routine and moderately complex questions independently, utilizing appropriate SAU database and PS systems, etc…
  • Confirms appropriate approvals and data from distribution channels have been received prior to setting up new selling agreement
  • Follows established workflows and processes, including but not limited to coordinating and tracking through AWD required source information within established timeframes
  • Proactively provides extra relationship support to our internal and external business partners through prioritization of issues and active communication
  • Keeps current and up-to-date on department procedures, systems and guidelines; must maintain knowledge of all marketing channels, workflows, products and functions; educates internal and external customers when appropriate
  • Understands how the role fits into the general business workflow, and the subsequent effects within Client departments and on external partners
