We seek individuals who possess strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities. You should exhibit creative and innovative thinking, along with good communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills. A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of development experience in relevant technologies (C#, Azure Logic Apps, PowerBI, Java, Python, JavaScript), is essential. Familiarity with integration frameworks (e.g., AIS, MuleSoft, Sterling B2B) and tools (e.g., AIS, REST, SOAP, GraphQL, Postman) is also required. A sound understanding of microservices architecture, cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, GCP, AWS), and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is important. Strong communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to interact with stakeholders at all levels are necessary. You should also demonstrate the capability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks independently and generate clarity in ambiguous situations.

Responsibilities:

As an Integration Engineer, my role involves creating, developing, and supporting global integration applications for all facets of our commercial operations to help position New Balance among the Top 3 Global Athletic Brands. This objective will be achieved through the strategic planning, execution, and implementation of technical initiatives that drive consistent business growth, broaden market share, and enhance brand equity and reputation. I will develop and implement EDI, API, and MFT integrations as per business requirements and technical specifications. I will create custom connectors and middleware to address communication gaps between various systems, ensuring compliance with coding standards, best practices, and security protocols. Designing scalable, secure, and efficient solutions for smooth inter-system communication will be a priority, as will defining appropriate technical specifications, including endpoints, data formats, authentication mechanisms, and error handling. I will assess existing integrations for potential improvements and optimization, stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in enterprise integrations, and recommend appropriate adoptions. Collaboration with product managers, software engineers, and other stakeholders will be vital for understanding integration requirements and priorities. Communicating technical concepts and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences is essential, as is coordinating with external partners or third-party vendors to ensure seamless connectivity and data flow. Additionally, identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing integrations for speed, reliability, and scalability will be critical, as will implementing monitoring and logging systems to track integration usage and ensure service uptime. I will also proactively address security vulnerabilities and compliance mandates related to all integrations.
