JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Director of Events Strategy will lead the planning, positioning and execution of our presence at high-impact events that elevate the company’s brand, engage healthcare decision-makers, and support commercial growth. This role goes beyond logistics–it’s about making every event a strategic opportunity to advance our brand, amplify thought leadership and drive meaningful engagement with customers, partners and influencers. You will own a diverse portfolio of events–including industry conferences, proprietary summits and executive forums–positioning our company as a thought leader in healthcare technology and innovation.
This leadership role will oversee the strategic planning, execution and management of hi-impact events across international markets. This role requires a forward-thinking, strategic mindset; strong project management skills; ability to navigate cultural and logistical complexities; deep expertise in event marketing; strong cross-functional collaboration; and an understanding of the complex healthcare ecosystem. Success will be measured by pipeline contribution, customer engagement, brand visibility, and event ROI.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement comprehensive global event strategy that is aligned with marketing, sales, and corporate goals across multiple healthcare sectors–including, but not limited to–provider, payor, TPA, broker and employer.
- Lead the planning and execution for owned and sponsored events: trade conferences (e.g., HIMSS, HLTH), customer summits, regional forums, associate events and executive roundtables.
- Identify and evaluate high-impact industry events and speaking opportunities that enhance our visibility and influence.
- Collaborate with executive, product marketing, sales, and marketing teams to shape event narratives, speaker content, and attendee experiences that resonate with a variety of relevant healthcare leaders.
- Lead and execute event promotion strategy through integrated campaigns (email, paid media, social, sales outreach, etc.).
- Manage budget and track event performance, using data to ensure cost-effectiveness and maximum ROI.
- Identify and implement innovative event formats, technologies and experiences to enhance attendee engagement and achieve KPIs and business objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of event professionals fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment; and manage vendor/agency relationships.
- Develop hiring plans and role definitions for future event team members; identify opportunities to scale the team as the business needs grow.
- Ensure consistent healthcare-compliant messaging and brand representation across all event touchpoints.
- Partner with executive communications and PR teams to identify media engagement opportunities at key events.
- Stay current on healthcare policy, tech trends, and event innovations to keep our brand at the forefront.
- 30-40% Travel Required

The position may charge the incumbent to make effective, sound business decisions which overall organizational impact. COMPENSATION The salary range for this position is $160-170K. Specific offers take into account a candidate’s education, experience and skills, as well as the candidate’s work location and internal equity. This position is also eligible for health insurance, 401k and bonus opportunity.
