About The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced marketing copywriter to support our upcoming campaigns, including the launch of NEXT@ Clever 2025 and an awareness initiative for Cybersecurity Month. This contract-based role is remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to high-impact marketing projects through December 31, 2025. The ideal candidate will excel at translating complex technical concepts into engaging, clear narratives that resonate with school administrators, IT leaders, and edtech partners. You will be responsible for creating compelling content across multiple channels, including blogs, website modules, social media posts, and case studies. Your work will help position Clever as a thought leader in identity management, security, and interoperability within the education technology landscape. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence messaging strategies and support innovative campaigns in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional copywriting experience, preferably in B2B marketing
  • Strong background in SaaS, edtech, or cybersecurity industries
  • Proven ability to translate technical or complex ideas into compelling stories for diverse audiences
  • Experience writing for blogs, websites, and social media channels with an emphasis on SEO and conversions
  • Robust portfolio showcasing B2B campaigns, including editorial content, landing pages, social media, and case studies
  • Ability to produce multiple content variations for A/B testing and optimization
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing best practices and audience engagement strategies
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Research and understand Clever’s products, target audiences, and industry trends to inform content creation
  • Write and edit three blog posts (500–800 words each) with multiple headline variations, positioning Clever as a leader in identity, security, and interoperability
  • Develop 6–10 concise, customer-centric copy modules across three web pages, including multiple variations for testing and optimization
  • Create 10–15 promotional and thought-leadership social media posts for LinkedIn and Twitter/X to enhance brand visibility and engagement
  • Develop two detailed customer success stories (500–600 words each) along with condensed slide versions for presentations and marketing collateral
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to align messaging strategies, incorporate feedback, and ensure content consistency
  • Support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns by providing high-quality, engaging copy tailored to various channels
  • Monitor and analyze content performance, making data-driven adjustments to improve engagement and conversion rates
