Position Title: Digital Product Manager

Position Summary:

The Digital Product Manager will partner with business GM’s and IT leadership to define the roadmap for custom digital products that support sales, product design, and product manufacturing. This role will also manage the execution of digital initiatives and ensure that the desired business impact is achieved. While doing so, the Digital Product Manager will ensure that formal Agile software development best practices are being utilized by application development teams. This role bridges the gap between business needs, technology capabilities, and user experience. Success will require a strategic mindset and an active and hands-on approach.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Drive timely execution of digital projects and ensure that business impact is achieved. Establish and track KPI’s to measure impact.
  • Partner with the Nortek Executive Team, Director of Technology, and Madison Air CIO to define a digital product roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Establish Agile methodology formal Product Management best practices. Gain support from technical, commercial and operations teams to operate in this way.
  • Ensure complete product adoption by leading and/or supporting the change management process for new products or features.
  • Serve as a liaison between all stakeholders, communicating needs and expectations clearly.
  • Manage interdependencies across functions to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Maintain issues and risks log and address.
  • Ensure Customer Centric Design — Ensure solutions are intuitive and impactful by incorporating Customer VOC into design and best practice UI/UX.
  • Stay abreast of AI opportunities and advance when appropriate. Help select the best AI technologies and tools.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and stay up to date on industry trends.
  • Focus on Continuous Improvement: Seek feedback from users and stakeholders and use as input into the development backlog.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in an Agile Product Management role, with experience in both strategic and tactical work
  • Industrial Manufacturing experience. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial technologies, and digital platforms.
  • Delivered proven business results (i.e. productivity gains, revenue growth, cost savings) through launch of digital products
  • Business Case development
  • Excellent collaborator with all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in an ambitious, high growth environment.
  • The location is US and open in East, Central or Mountain Time Zones.
  • Travel requirement is up to 25% on average.
