Investment Banking Associate
This client is a premier investment bank known for their deep industry expertise, hands-on deal execution, and longstanding client relationships. The Healthcare group is a market leader, advising on some on the most complex M&A transactions across the space.
The team is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Investment Banking Associate to join their Healthcare M&A team in New York. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers and clients of strategic advisory assignments, with a strong emphasis on M&A.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of M&A transactions, including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, and client presentations
- Manage and mentor analysts, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient workflow
- Conduct in-depth industry and company research to support strategic insights and recommendations
- Interface directly with clients, legal advisors, and other stakeholders throughout the deal process
- Prepare pitch materials and contribute to business development efforts
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of investment banking experience, preferably with a focus on healthcare and M&A
- Strong technical skills in financial modeling, valuation (DCF, LBO, precedent transactions, comps), and transaction structuring
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and project management skills
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier institution; MBA or other advanced degree a plus
