About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to support complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives. In this role, you will consult on strategic projects, analyze multifaceted technical challenges, and contribute to the development of scalable solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical consultation on complex software engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact.
  • Analyze and resolve large-scale, multi-dimensional engineering challenges involving multiple systems and technologies.
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions considering both tangible and intangible factors, including unprecedented scenarios.
  • Ensure deliverables meet functional, policy, procedural, and compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate strategically with internal teams and client stakeholders to drive project success.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in Software Engineering or equivalent experience through a combination of work, consulting, military service, or education.

  • Strong proficiency in:

  • T-SQL, SSIS, ETL processes

  • Power BI for data visualization and reporting

  • Git for version control

  • SQL Server Developer tools

  • Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) using Jira.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with:

  • Oracle, Teradata, AutoSys, Big Data technologies

  • SSAS Tabular Models

  • Prior experience in the banking or financial services industry is a strong plus.
