Description: Our client is currently seeking a ENGINEER-RF
RF Engineer
Cincinnati-OH-USA (Hybrid)
Responsibilities:
Designing and planning the Radio Frequency Network for Verizon LTE and 5G which includes RF analysis, search area issuance, candidate assessment, and approvals.
Redesigning mature network areas to minimize capacity constraints and improve SINR while working with other areas of the network to ensure performance fixes/initiatives are in place.
Using internal tools (FUZE, ATOLL) to process regulatory compliance.
Performing Macro/Small Cell Design/In Building design including antenna selection and placement, utilizing knowledge of 5G, LTE, and microwave to contribute in network design are key responsibilities.
Working on new cell sites, making sure the site is properly integrated into the network and optimized for peak performance.
MUST HAVE SKILLS (Most Important):
Minimum of 2-3 years experience working on Verizon projects.
Atoll Experience
Fuze Experience (RF Design, CIQ, etc.)
Ability to work independently with little guidance on multiple projects requiring best network design decisions.
DESIRED SKILLS:
Solid knowledge of RF, antenna, and frequency license theory as well as LTE/VoLTE/5G/VoNR Technology.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
RF certifications and/or degrees are a plus
