Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Business Analyst I to join our Houston team. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical skills, a bachelor’s degree, and 1–3 years of experience in customer-facing or operations support positions. The Business Analyst I will provide critical support in analyzing business processes, developing reports, and ensuring smooth operations across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, identify issues, and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Support operations and customer-facing teams by troubleshooting issues, documenting processes, and providing timely updates.
  • Create, maintain, and analyze reports using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts) and other business tools.
  • Work across multiple applications and platforms, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Manage multiple priorities and projects within established timelines, adapting effectively to changing business needs.
  • Develop clear documentation, workflows, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in handling sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders with a positive, solutions-focused approach.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with strong academic achievement required.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing or operations support role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes quickly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to present information clearly and persuasively.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities, manage competing demands, and perform under pressure.
