1. Engagement Overview

The SAP Sr. System Analyst, PP/QM, will support the client in production planning (PP), quality management (QM), and logistics execution (LE) functions. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, testing, and deploying SAP solutions that align with business objectives while ensuring end-user readiness and ongoing support. This engagement includes international and domestic travel as required for project delivery, workshops, and stakeholder alignment.

2. Objectives

  • Provide expert SAP PP/QM functional consulting to optimize manufacturing and quality processes.
  • Lead workshops and requirements gathering sessions with business stakeholders in Honduras and U.S. locations.
  • Deliver SAP configuration, testing, training, and deployment for PP/QM.
  • Ensure smooth integration with other SAP modules (MM, WM, SD, FI/CO).
  • Support knowledge transfer and transition to client resources.3. Scope of Work & Deliverables

Phase 1 Discovery & Planning

  • Conduct workshops with business users in Honduras and U.S. sites to gather requirements.
  • Document business processes, pain points, and improvement opportunities.
  • Define functional requirements and solution scope for PP/QM.
  • Deliverable: Business Requirements Document (BRD) & High-Level Solution Blueprint

Phase 2 Design & Configuration

  • Configure SAP PP (BOMs, routings, work centers, production versions, MRP, shop floor execution).
  • Configure SAP QM (lot creation, result recording, notifications, inspection setup).
  • Develop functional specifications for enhancements, reports, and integrations (including 3PL EDI).
  • Conduct unit testing and integration testing with related SAP modules.
  • Deliverable: Configured SAP PP/QM System & Functional Specification Documents

Phase 3 Testing & Validation

  • Lead regression and non-regression testing for rollout/upgrade activities.
  • Coordinate with technical (ABAP) teams to validate custom programs and interfaces.
  • Engage key business users for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Deliverable: Test Scripts, Test Results, & UAT Sign-off

Phase 4 Training & Deployment

  • Deliver training sessions for end users and super users (onsite and remote).
  • Develop training materials and knowledge transfer documentation.
  • Support cutover planning and execution for rollout/go-live.
  • Deliverable: Training Materials, End-User Training Completion, Go-Live Readiness Checklist

Phase 5 Hypercare & Transition

  • Provide post-go-live support (on-call as needed).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve PP/QM-related issues.
  • Conduct transition workshops with internal IT and business support teams.
  • Deliverable: Post-Go-Live Support Log & Transition Document

4. Travel Requirements

  • Honduras: Multiple onsite visits (requirements workshops, testing, deployment, go-live support).
  • U.S. Locations: Travel as needed for stakeholder alignment, training, and support.
  • All travel expenses will be pre-approved and reimbursed per client policy.

5. Consultant Qualifications

  • 5 years SAP PP/QM/LE experience.
  • 1 2 full lifecycle implementations and rollouts in PP/QM.
  • Strong knowledge of PP master data management, MRP, shop floor execution, and QM functionalities.
  • Experience with custom development, testing, and integration with MM, WM, SD, FI/CO.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
