Role Description of BMC Helix Discovery: CMDB / Techno Consultant L1

  • Administer BMC Discovery Software which serves the role of Configuration Management Inventory collection from nearly every type of IT Infrastructure.

Troubleshoot Network Connectivity and/or Credential issues such as:

  1. SSH to Linux/Unix Platforms
  2. WMI Query and PowerShell to Windows
  3. SNMP to Network Devices
  4. API Connections (for example Credential and Connection to Cloud Providers AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)
