District Sales Manager

As a District Sales Manager at Downeast Cider, you will lead a team of sales representatives in achieving the company’s mission of becoming the #1 hard cider company in America. This role is responsible for driving revenue, volume, and distribution growth within the Empire State by developing a high-performing sales team and strengthening relationships with wholesaler partners.

What You’ll Do

++Build and Develop a Strong Sales Team++

Recruit and manage a team of high-performing sales representatives

Identify and hire top talent with a sense of urgency when filling open roles

Train team members to master the sales process and best practices

Provide clear, constructive feedback tailored to individual strengths and areas for improvement

++Motivate and Lead the Team++

Spend at least three days per week in the field coaching and supporting the team

Foster a high-energy, performance-driven work environment

Ensure accountability while maintaining a positive and motivating culture

++Drive Sales Growth++

Achieve volume, distribution, and revenue goals

Build trust and strong working relationships with wholesalers within the territory

Leverage distributor partnerships to expand market reach and increase sales

Who You Are

At least three years of outside sales experience

Strong track record of delivering excellent customer service

Proven ability to manage budgets and organize a weekly/monthly account list

Reside within the territory covered (Pennsylvania or New Jersey)

Hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in sales training

At least two years of direct sales management experience

Background in the alcohol industry

Proficiency in Google Suite (G Suite)
