Senior Software Engineer
Requirements
Must have:
– We require 15+ years of software engineering experience. – We prefer a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline. – We need experience applying AI/ML methods, including model development, data pipeline engineering, or embedding machine learning capabilities into operational software systems. – We expect strong proficiency in several programming languages, including Python, Java, and JavaScript. – We look for hands-on experience with contemporary tools and frameworks such as React, Docker, and Kubernetes. – We require experience with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or comparable platforms. – We need demonstrated experience building and consuming APIs, including REST, GraphQL, or similar interfaces. – We value working knowledge of Agile/Scrum practices in a delivery-oriented setting. – We prefer familiarity with Palantir Foundry or similar data integration and analytics platforms. – We require the ability to work in a DoD environment supporting Army programs. – We require a Top Secret security clearance. – We require the ability to commute to Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD, for an on-site role. – We require a bachelors degree.
Responsibilities:
- We design, develop, and maintain software solutions that improve interoperability across Army intelligence systems. – We build and connect RESTful APIs and microservices to link diverse platforms and data sources. – We collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver incremental, mission-focused software capabilities. – We use Palantir Foundry to support data integration, analytics, and operational workflows. – We partner with government stakeholders, system integrators, and end users to translate mission needs into technical solutions. – We support system integration and testing across changing Army network environments. – We troubleshoot and resolve complex software and integration issues in both operational and development settings. – We work as an individual contributor, applying deep technical expertise directly to mission challenges. – We travel as needed, approximately 20% of the time.
