Data Engineer

The Role

• Lead the design, integration, and sustainment of enterprise-grade data infrastructure.

• Build and maintain cloud data pipelines, onboarding multiple data feeds into a modern analytics stack.

• Engineer and optimize data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and system interoperability for analytics, cloud, IoT, BI, and data sharing.

• Administer, secure, and modernize data platforms in alignment with stringent cybersecurity and compliance standards.

• Assess and coordinate facility, rack, cabling, and hardware modifications for infrastructure deployment.

• Provide senior-level engineering guidance, technical recommendations, and executive-ready briefings.

What You’ll Need

• High School diploma with 9+ years of commensurate experience.

• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+, CCNA Security).

• Proven expertise in designing and sustaining enterprise-scale data infrastructure in hybrid or cloud environments.

• Experience developing data pipelines, storage architectures, and system-to-system integration frameworks.

• Strong skills in SQL-based database management, data modeling, and performance optimization.

• Ability to support complex modernization initiatives in fast-paced, mission-critical operational environments.

• Active Secret clearance required.
