Software Engineer

We’re hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Design and develop CI/CD systems, enterprise-level tooling, and quality processes.

• Develop software and tools, including front-end applications, backend services, and microservices.

• Interact with cross-functional teams to verify and debug issues, and optimize features.

• Participate in application scale-up and deployment activities.

• Perform code reviews, developer and unit testing, and propose automated testing solutions.

• Manipulate source code and data for large-scale automated end-to-end operations.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 2+ years of experience OR Master’s with 1+ year.

• 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages like C, C++, Java, or Python.

• Experience in software automation and enterprise CI/CD environments.

• Experience in C#, C, or Python-based tools development.

• Familiarity with major SCM tools and automation (e.g., GitHub, Gerrit, Perforce).

• Ability to administer and script in Linux environments and troubleshoot data in MongoDB, SQL, or Elastic Search.
