Location: Austin, TX

Work Setting: Hybrid — 3 days remote / 2 days onsite (Tuesdays & Wednesdays)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM — 5:00 PM

CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a major initiative within a large Texas state agency environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned Business Analyst with strong experience in requirements gathering, business systems analysis, SDLC methodologies, and technical documentation development.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user requirements
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, architects, and support teams
• Gather and document functional and technical requirements
• Support software development lifecycle activities including testing and validation
• Develop user guides, instructional documentation, and application reference materials
• Create screenshots and visual aids to support training and documentation efforts
• Participate in system demos, walkthroughs, and enhancement discussions
• Identify opportunities for business process improvements and technology solutions
• Assist with training material development and end-user support documentation

Required Qualifications

• 8 years of Business Analyst experience
• Strong experience reviewing and evaluating business systems and user needs
• Experience with SDLC methodologies and software development environments
• Experience supporting testing activities including UAT and system testing
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities independently
• Experience collaborating with both business and IT teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating technical or instructional documentation
• Experience developing screenshots and visual job aids
• Strong written communication and presentation skills
• Experience translating technical concepts into user-friendly language
• Data analysis experience
• PMP or project management experience is a plus

Additional Information

• Candidates may be required to work outside normal business hours as needed
• Background check and compliance documentation required prior to onboarding
• State agency experience is highly preferred
