QA Tester

We’re hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!

The Role

• Execute and manage testing activities, including creating and executing test cases, documenting results, and logging defects with accuracy and traceability.

• Support quality assurance processes by participating in requirements and design reviews, developing test scripts, and contributing to QA standards.

• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to support test planning, execution, and defect resolution throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Drive quality improvements by recommending enhancements to QA practices and supporting testing across projects and production support.

• Perform system and problem analysis to ensure applications meet functionality, performance, and reliability expectations.

What You’ll Need

• 3+ years of experience in software application development and testing.

• Coursework in Computer Science, Information Systems, Informatics, or equivalent experience.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

• Experience with test planning, test case design, and defect tracking tools.

• Familiarity with cloud technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) and system architecture concepts.

• Understanding of relational databases and test automation concepts.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
