Job Description
We are looking for a Senior .NET Developer to oversee the design, development, and maintenance of ASP.NET Web Forms applications while ensuring best practices and stakeholder expectations are met.
What You ll Do
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of ASP.NET Web Forms applications
- Maintain and enhance existing code
- Perform and participate in design and code review
- Identify risks and make recommendations for best practices
- Meet with and manage expectations of key stakeholders
What You’ll Need
Required:
- 10+ years of expert experience developing web applications using C#, VB.Net, and ASP.Net
- 10+ years of experience with MS SQL 2008 or higher
- 10+ years of proficiency with Web Services, JavaScript, and AJAX technologies
- 10+ years of experience overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of existing code
- 10+ years of experience performing and participating in design and code reviews
- 10+ years of experience identifying risks and recommending best practices
- 5+ years of experience meeting with and managing expectations of key stakeholders
- 5+ years of experience in CSS, jQuery, and web design
Preferred:
- Experience with state government business needs
- Familiarity with architecture and coding standards
Physical Demands
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
- Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
- Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
- Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc
