Requirements

Must have:

– Bachelors Degree – Active Secret Security Clearance – Capability to obtain Special Program Access – Over 5 years of experience in backend software development (Java, Spring, Oracle SQL, SQL Server) – More than 5 years of experience with Go, Python, Java, or another comparable server language – 5+ years of experience using database technologies with SQL or PL/SQL – Familiarity with Agile methodologies – Preferred: Bachelors in an accredited engineering, technology, or science discipline with relevant experience or a combination of education and experience totaling 9+ years

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the architecture, development, documentation, and upkeep of efficient, innovative processes, tools, and performance metrics for the software engineering lifecycle to enable continuous software integration, delivery, and deployment – Provide thorough technical guidance for various systems, assisting teams in the design and operation of production-ready systems – Assess emerging technologies to find inventive solutions to current and future challenges – Mentor and nurture engineers of varying levels through knowledge sharing – Manage projects from inception to completion with minimal direct supervision – Demonstrate strong teamwork and coordination skills, clarifying ambiguous situations – Collaborate with a team to establish the architecture for various web applications – Develop new and enhance existing infrastructure facilitating multi-application communications, logging, authentication, and more – Create testing frameworks for server applications ensuring reliability and performance – Collaborate to make decisions impacting the entire system – Work with users and developers to identify and implement effective solutions – Efficiency in prototyping features and applications, both independently and in teams – Communicate effectively to align team processes with our objectives – Participate in architectural discussions, influencing the roadmap and taking charge of significant projects – Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and drive enhancements for system availability and performance – Research and oversee the incorporation of new technologies and regulatory changes applicable to software development – Manage the architecture, design, development, analysis, and maintenance of extensive software systems ensuring compliance with industry standards – Collaborate with stakeholders to define systems and transpose system-level requirements into software specifications with traceability – Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with requirements and standards
