Requirements

Must have:

– We require an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance that is current, along with U.S. citizenship or other qualifying U.S. Person status for export control compliance. – We require the ability to qualify for Special Access Program clearance. – We require a bachelors degree or equivalent experience. – We require at least 3 years of experience working in Linux development environments. – We require at least 3 years of hands-on C development experience. – We require at least 3 years of experience using version control tools such as Git or Subversion. – We require experience working within an Agile software development lifecycle. – We prefer a bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, computer science, or a closely related field, plus 3 years of relevant experience. – We will also consider a bachelors degree with 9 years of directly related experience, or 13 years of related and relevant experience. – We value prior experience with Operator-in-the-Loop or Distributed Interactive Simulation environments. – We value Python scripting and automation skills. – We value experience coordinating multiple projects and collaborating across cleared teams. – We look for strong teamwork skills and a mission-focused mindset.

Responsibilities:

• We develop, integrate, and support simulation software within our virtual simulation toolset to enable Operator-in-the-Loop experiments. – We model platforms, sensors, emitters, weapons, communications, and tactical systems to meet customer requirements. – We collaborate with our internal teams and cleared external partners to create and run large federated simulations. – We define technical requirements, write software designs, and prepare test plans. – We troubleshoot, validate, and refine experimental systems to ensure dependable performance. – We support research and development efforts tied to contractual commitments. – We translate classified operational needs into executable simulation capabilities. – We help deliver new simulation functionality quickly and securely for classified experimentation events. – We produce maintainable components that align with customer timelines and operational expectations. – We communicate clearly with cleared stakeholders to turn mission needs into verified outputs.

We are Boeing, and our Virtual Warfare Center team in Berkeley, Missouri supports the Boeing Defense, Space & Security organization by building and extending the Virtual Interactive Simulation Environment used for real-time Operator-in-the-Loop experimentation.
