Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager for a Contract position with a client located in Hybrid (Boston, MA).

Rate Range: $65-$70/hr on W2 without benefits, The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors

Position Summary:The ideal candidate should have experience project managing large software products and/or leading project management for complex technology solutions, possess a demonstrated ability for attention to detail in managing and tracking deliverables across a multi-workstream project, anticipating issues, raising concerns to senior management and driving vendors toward successful results as measured by project KPIs. Preferably, this individual will also have experience managing large Salesforce deployments.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in IT project management with capability of managing complex, cross-functional IT projects. experience working in a project portfolio management environment involving external delivery partners and multiple software vendors
  • Strong issue & problem management skills, including root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills are required
  • Masters-level knowledge of Microsoft’s entire productivity suite including Office 365, Teams, SharePoint Online and OneDrive, Project and/or Planner. Power BI a plus
  • Prior project management of large public sector IT projects, with understanding of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts practices, policies and budgeting is a major plus
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum and ITIL concepts, Theory of Constraints a plus
