Title: Investment Banking Managing Director

Company Summary: We are currently partnered with a high performing, full service, Middle Market Investment Bank looking to add an Investment Banking MD to join their Financial Institutions Group. Sitting remote, this person will assist in building out the Investment Bank’s M&A Advisory team and take ownership of their coverage sector within Specialty Finance, Depositories, Wealth & Asset Management, etc.

The Investment Banking Managing Director will be responsible for:

• Leading the M&A Advisory practice
• Deal origination in their specialized sector/subsectors
• Overseeing the entire M&A deal process from origination to successful completion (short term)
• Assisting in deal execution process (short term)
• Assembling and mentoring a team of additional junior resources

The Investment Banking Managing Director should have:

• 10 years of Investment Banking experience
• Experience successfully managing and leading a team, preferably at a regional boutique or middle market bank
• Successful track record of originating, managing, and closing sell side M&A deals
• Experience in the FIG sector
• Bachelors Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
