About The Role Surya Carpet is seeking a strategic and innovative Marketing Director to lead its marketing efforts across its diverse brand portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies that elevate brand presence, foster customer engagement, and drive revenue growth. This leadership role involves close collaboration with executive leadership to define priorities, develop integrated campaigns, and oversee all aspects of marketing operations. The Marketing Director will build and nurture a high-performing team capable of thriving in a fast-paced, data-driven environment where creativity and analytical insights are equally valued. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, with an MBA being a plus. Proven success in leading and inspiring high-performing marketing teams, coupled with a strong track record of executing strategies that result in measurable business growth, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional project management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple priorities seamlessly. Experience with marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and data analytics platforms is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, is expected. The candidate should also possess excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a passion for home furnishings and interior design.

Responsibilities The Marketing Director will be responsible for shaping and executing the overall marketing and brand strategy to enhance the positioning and relevance of Surya Carpet’s brands. This includes driving brand awareness, differentiation, and customer preference while supporting revenue growth. The role involves collaborating cross-functionally to plan and implement seamless omni-channel brand experiences across print, digital, and showroom environments. Developing tools and resources that empower the sales team to exceed revenue targets through increased efficiency and effectiveness is a key focus. The Director will design and oversee trade marketing initiatives aimed at expanding market share and sales volume, as well as managing a comprehensive marketing calendar aligned with product launches and strategic initiatives.

Communication management is vital, with responsibilities including content strategy, creation, and distribution for internal and external audiences. This encompasses targeted messaging, collateral development, and overseeing social media, public relations, and digital campaigns. The role requires analyzing market, customer, and competitor data to inform strategic decisions, defining key performance metrics, and generating regular reports to evaluate marketing effectiveness.

Leadership is a core component, with responsibilities including recruiting, mentoring, and developing a top-tier marketing team.
