Data Engineer

The Role

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines, warehouses, and integration strategies.

• Develop robust extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes for efficient data movement.

• Analyze existing and future datasets for technical and business functions.

• Collaborate with data owners to deliver solutions that improve decision-making.

• Troubleshoot complex data issues and perform root cause analysis.

• Create data models and optimize structures for analytics and predictive modeling.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of four years of relevant data engineering experience.

• Experience with data storage, analysis tools, and data warehouses.

• Knowledge of SQL and scripting languages like Python or R.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy security clearance.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
