Seller Tech Analyst
About The Role You will shape seller-tech initiatives at the front of the lifecycle, ensuring they are clearly defined before progressing into product requirements, solution design, and engineering delivery.
Working closely with business sponsors, Seller Tech Strategy, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will translate ambiguous needs into structured workflows, business rules, and dependencies.
You will ensure initiatives are logically sound and aligned to platform guardrails before entering downstream design and build.

Lead Requirements Definition for Assigned Initiatives

Translate business problems into clear, structured, and decision-ready requirements

Define problem statement, business outcomes, success measures, and scope boundaries
-
Identify missing decisions, assumptions, dependencies, and risks early
-
Produce requirements that are complete, unambiguous, and ready for intake and alignment

Map current-state and future-state workflows across teams, systems, and lifecycle stages
-
Define actors, triggers, decision points, exceptions, dependencies, and handoffs
-
Clarify what occurs within the platform vs upstream or downstream processes
-
Ensure workflow logic is consistent and scalable across use cases and regions

Ensure requirements align to:

Platform guardrails and design principles
-
Capability direction
-
CRM object and data standards
-
Highlight and refine requirements that introduce fragmentation or conflict with platform direction

Partner with Seller Tech Strategy and stakeholders to ensure alignment before intake

Organize workflows, business rules, dependencies, and system expectations into structured inputs for product and architecture teams

Ensure downstream teams start from a clear and aligned baseline
-
Support clarification of scope and logic as initiatives move forward

Work across business, operations, regional teams, and platform stakeholders to validate requirements

Challenge inconsistencies in process design, ownership, and logic
-
Surface and help resolve misalignment early in the lifecycle
-
Maintain clear linkage between requirements, workflows, and expected outcomes
-
Support impact analysis when requirements change
-
Help define validation scenarios to ensure requirements can be tested and confirmed

Create and maintain:

Business requirements documents

Workflow diagrams and process maps

Business rule definitions and decision tables

Dependency and assumption tracking

Ensure documentation is structured, specific, and usable without reinterpretation

5 years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, operations, or commercial systems roles
-
Strong ability to break down complex, ambiguous problems into structured workflows and decision logic
-
Experience working with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred)

Experience defining business processes and system requirements
-
Experience supporting CRM, seller-tech, or enterprise platform initiatives
-
Familiarity with commercial workflows (lead-to-cash, seller assignment, quoting, approvals, billing handoffs)

Experience working in structured governance or platform environments
-
Business asks are translated into clear, structured requirements before delivery begins
-
Workflow logic, dependencies, and edge cases are identified early
-
Requirements align to platform standards and reduce fragmentation
-
Downstream teams move faster due to clarity and strong requirement definition
-
Stakeholders share a consistent understanding of how processes operate end-to-end

Rework is reduced due to complete and logically consistent requirements
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$131,000 per year – USD$145,500 per year. You will be eligible to participate in Uber’s bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) plan.
